Job Description

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be Civil Service approved.
• Prospective employees must receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check.
• Must have extreme patience working with young people.
• Must be helpful and attentive to directions of the teacher.
• Willingness and ability to assist in lifting and toileting of students.
• Patience, consistency, able to manage challenging behaviors required.
• Must help with organizing materials and supplies.
• Evidence of strong communication/interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff.
• Able to be flexible and accommodating.
