We are committed to supporting vulnerable children and young people through nurturing, therapeutic services that have a lasting impact on their lives.

Eden School is a specialist independent school in Macclesfield where every child is valued as part of a close and supportive community. We provide individualised SEN education within a therapeutic learning environment for young people aged 6-16 with autism, ADHD, and/or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Pupils are taught in small classes of no more than six, each supported by at least one full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to ensure a high level of personalised support.

We are seeking a teacher with experience teaching across KS2-KS4 in either a mainstream or special school setting, using a primary-style approach tailored to support individual learning and developmental needs. An interest in taking on the role of Science Lead would also be desirable.

What we are looking for:

  • Anexcellent, innovative classroom teacher
  • A teacher who understands the importance of a therapeutic approach to education
  • Qualified Teacher Status (required)
  • Ability to teach a range of subjects (required)
  • At least 1 year experience as a teacher (required)
  • Experience of teaching children with SEN (required)

Additional Information:

  • Permanent
  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Term time only +5 inset days
