Job Title: Teacher
Location: Hillingdon Manor School, Uxbridge, UB8 3HD
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience ( not pro rata )
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term time only

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) who can make a significant contribution to the school.
You will:
- Lead in a particular curriculum area and develop engaging learning experiences for pupils
- Take a creative approach to teaching according to pupils' educational needs
- Support KS4 staff by providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship
- Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure pupils receive the assistance they need
- Provide feedback to SLT, parents, and carers to track and enhance pupil progress
- Support pupils who may display challenging behaviours due to their additional needs
- Promote the school's vision and values while contributing to the development of a positive learning environment

Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience teaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils with complex additional needs
- Ability to plan and deliver fun, engaging, and effective learning sessions
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- NPQ accreditation, or willingness to work towards an NPQ course within 12 months of employment

At Hillingdon Manor Secondary School, we provide specialist education for c185 pupils, aged between 11-19 years old. Our students are taught in smaller class sizes and all students work towards a variety of qualifications dependent on their needs and ability.
The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each pupil's potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide students with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment.
