Teacher Oulton C.E. First School

Required to start September 2026 (although there may be a possibility of an earlier start)

We are excited to offer the opportunity to welcome a new member of staff to the Oulton team. The Governing Committee of Oulton C.E. First School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified practitioner to teach in Lower Key Stage 2 and provide cover for PPA in KS1. The successful candidate will be expected to take on subject leadership.

Oulton C.E. First School is situated on the outskirts of the market town of Stone. We are a popular village school set within a strong local community. Oulton is a small school but a significant number of our children are welcomed from surrounding areas. Our school caters for children from three years of age in our Nursery through to learners of nine (Year 4). The children are taught in mixed-year classes. Behaviour and attitudes to learning are excellent. We are part of a Multi-Academy Trust comprising two First Schools, two Primary Schools and a Middle School.

The successful candidate will work 3 days a week in both our mixed Year 3&4 class and provide PPA cover in our mixed Year1&2 class. The KS2 class is a part job share as the current teacher is part-time. This commitment is 2 days in KS2 and day for PPA cover in KS1.
