Tax Manager

We are exclusively partnering with a globally renowned FMCG multinational in their search for an experienced Tax Manager to join their UK Tax Team. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation, currently going through an exciting transformation period.

The position involves advising on regional tax matters, overseeing compliance processes, managing regulatory interactions, whilst also driving tax technology & process automation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with global tax policies and risk management frameworks while addressing local regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert tax insights on business activities, transactions, acquisitions, and commercial agreements.
• Navigate audits and tax disputes, working with external specialists and central teams for consistent resolutions.
• Oversee tax filings and reconciliations, collaborating with third-party service providers and internal teams.
• Develop strategies to manage tax risks, strengthen internal controls, and support governance frameworks.
• Track tax law developments, evaluating business impacts and advising on necessary adjustments.
• Contribute to decisions on tax-related elements of business-wide financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years' of post-qualified experience (ACA, CTA or relevant qualification)
• Background in multinational corporations or top-tier advisory firms.
• Skilled communicator, confident in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
