Tax Accountant

The Job

As Tax Accountant, you'll take ownership of all taxation matters (VAT, Corporation Tax, employment taxes) and act as the organisation's key liaison with HMRC. You'll advise senior leadership on complex tax issues, shape taxation strategy, and ensure compliance across the group and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Director, this is a role where your expertise will influence decisions at the highest level.

The Person

We are looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/FCA preferred; ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA considered)
• Significant UK tax experience across VAT, Corporation Tax, and employment taxes
• Skilled at advising senior stakeholders and managing HMRC relationships
• Strong analytical and influencing skills

Experience in a large, complex organisation is essential.
