Pertemps Technical is recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer for one of our clients based in Clevedon, BS21. As a Systems Test Engineer, you will report to the Test Supervisor and collaborate with all other departments.

Overview:
  • Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
  • Experience in a similar role is necessary
  • Salary between £33,000-£35,761 based on experience

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Support the delivery of business success by working closely with all departments and managers
  • Ensure the right experience for customers and generate profits
  • Work collaboratively as a team, embodying our shared values
  • Develop yourself, balance work and personal life, and offer support to colleagues
  • Test and inspect Battery Tripping Units, Inverters, and U.P.S. Systems
  • Test manufactured and bought-in equipment to standards
  • Complete factory acceptance tests (FATs) to customer specifications
  • Capacity test batteries
  • Evaluate testing processes to meet standards
  • Maintain test equipment to required standards
  • Fault find down to component level on PCBs
  • Assist in developing and writing standards
  • Participate in troubleshooting and issue reporting to identify root causes
  • Maintain quality standards and records
  • Provide feedback to Design and Engineering, participate in design reviews
Qualifications / Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of QAM (sections 1-3) QAP2.7, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with MRP systems
  • Understanding high frequency power supply technology
  • Experience with LabView
