System Engineer

We are currently supporting our client in the search for an experienced Senior System Engineer to take technical ownership of a mission-critical job scheduling and automation environment based on Broadcom AWA.

In this role, you will contribute to key life cycle initiatives within the ROC Project, focusing on maintaining, optimizing, and further developing the scheduling infrastructure. You will work closely with partner teams, support migrations from custom-built solutions, and ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations.

Your responsibilities include managing the Broadcom AWA, AWI & Analytics ecosystem, driving process automation, creating user role and security concepts, and supporting technical roadmaps. You will also handle Level 3 support, collaborate with software vendors, and participate in a rotating 24/7 on-duty incident management schedule.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Broadcom AWA, deep Unix/Linux knowledge, and proficiency in Shell Scripting. A university degree in computer science or equivalent vocational education is required, along with solid experience in enterprise IT environments.
