The pension fund of the State Medical Association of Hesse is an institution with partial legal capacity of the public corporation of the State Medical Association of Hesse. We are the pension insurance for Hessian doctors and ensure old-age, disability and survivors' pensions in a funded financing system. We currently look after the claims of more than 50,000 chamber members and manage our own assets of over €11 billion. Our approximately 130 dedicated employees work in three business areas.

Job profile:

• Ensuring system availability and rectifying faults in IT operations
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows as well as maintenance of the Active Directory and the internal network
• Configuration of M365 tenants and Exchange
• Creation of PowerShell scripts, administration of data backup and technical documentation
• Collaboration on IT projects, management of service providers

Requirements profile:

• You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, such as training as an IT specialist for system integration, as well as several years of professional experience in a Microsoft client-server environment and sound hardware knowledge.
• You have very good knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID, group policies and PowerShell scripting as well as various network topologies such as Ethernet and WLAN.
• You are experienced in using Veeam Backup and have good knowledge of virtualization, especially VMware and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
• You have analytical and conceptual skills, good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills and are able to work independently, act in a team and remain resilient even in stressful situations.
• You are characterized by a high level of service orientation and enjoy dealing with people, have a very good command of written and spoken German as well as a good command of English and have desirable knowledge in the following areas:

  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • HP ClearPass
  • PRTG Network Monitoring
  • Sophos Mobile Control
