Sysadmin Linux

Job Description:

• Install, configure, maintain and monitor Linux servers and related services

• Ensure system stability, security and performance across production environments

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and technical issues

• Apply security patches and perform regular system updates

• Administer services such as Apache, Nginx, DNS, SSH

• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash/Shell/Python)

• Manage backups, data recovery and disaster recovery strategies

• Collaborate with development and networking teams to optimise infrastructure

• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

• Support maintenance windows and provide on-call technical support

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar

• 2-3 years' experience in Linux system administration

• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)

• Experience with scripting (Bash/Shell) and automation

• Knowledge of networking, virtualisation and monitoring tools

• Experience in high-availability or critical environments

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good command of technical English / French is a plus

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Ansible, Docker or Kubernetes

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with databases or web services

• Linux certifications (Red Hat, LPIC)
