Job Description
As a Sustainability Reporting Intern, you will support the Corporate Sustainability team in the preparation and coordination of ESG data collection and reporting activities. This internship offers hands-on experience with sustainability reporting frameworks and ESG disclosures in a global business environment. The internship is limited to 12 months and requires regular on-site presence at our premises in Aarburg.
Your responsibilites- Assist with collecting, organizing, and validating sustainability-related data from internal teams and systems.
- Support the implementation and use of the ESG reporting tool across Franke's business units.
- Help prepare content and materials for Franke's annual Sustainability Report, including visuals, and narratives.
- Contribute to the development of internal communication materials (e.g. brochures, Training materials) related to reporting.
- Assist in preparing submissions for external ESG ratings and assessments (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis, UN Global Compact).
- Help coordinate internal review processes by tracking inputs, organizing documents, and preparing draft versions for review.
- Support the team in ensuring consistency of formatting, tone, and terminology across sustainability deliverables.
- Conduct basic research, gap analyses, or benchmarking to inform reporting improvements.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, and data analysis.
- Basic understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
