Sustainability, Digital Data Manager - 2 Years Fixed Term Contract

GSK is seeking a Sustainability, Digital Data Manager on a 2-year fixed-term contract or secondment basis. The role can be based at GSK HQ in central London or at one of the southeast UK sites (Ware, Stevenage, Worthing).

This global position involves partnering with GSK tech and sustainability experts to develop and implement digital solutions for measuring and reporting progress on sustainability commitments related to climate and nature, as well as ensuring compliance with reporting obligations.

The successful candidate will work with senior stakeholders across functions and should have a proven track record in developing tech solutions to accelerate compliance disclosures. Good communication skills and experience in preparing technical documentation are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global teams across Tech, Supply Chain, and Commercial sectors, engaging with senior leaders.
• Develop cross-functional collaborations to align digital projects with business and sustainability goals.
• Manage GSK's sustainability digital applications to generate insights and support real-time decision-making.
• Establish data governance practices, including data catalogues, data lineage, and quality monitoring.
• Plan and manage digital sustainability projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies like AI, and regulatory requirements to enhance GSK's sustainability apps.

Qualifications

Required:

• Degree or equivalent with experience in digital solutions, AI technologies, and sustainability principles.
• Technical expertise in database architecture, data governance, AI/ML, analytics, or data mining.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.

Preferred:

• Experience in delivering sustainability digital/data products.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (GRI, ISSB, CSRD).
