To strengthen our team in Winnenden (Stuttgart area) as soon as possible, we are looking for a

Sustainability Data and Audit Analyst (f/m/d)

Your role:

In this role, you will strengthen our sustainability reporting, enhance data quality, and improve audit readiness across key ESG topics. You will act as a central link, aligning data management, compliance, and internal audit processes. You will:

  • Support ESG reporting with a focus on increased HKEX evidence requirements, including emissions data collection, validation, and documentation
  • Ensure audit-ready sustainability data by implementing and maintaining robust validation and control processes
  • Manage and further develop CBAM reporting processes in preparation for expanded regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and validate Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data, including BOM-based calculations and supplier data requests
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to enhance data availability, consistency, and traceability
  • Plan and conduct internal audits (e.g., ISO as co-auditor and sustainability as lead auditor), including documentation, reporting of findings, and follow-up actions
  • Contribute to the development of sustainability controls, audit frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the preparation of assessments for rating platforms (e.g. Ecovadis)

Your profile:

  • Degree or equivalent technical education in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in ESG reporting, sustainability data management, or auditing
  • Solid knowledge of GHG accounting, ESG frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ESRS/CSRD, CBAM, PPWR, DPP)
  • Experience with data validation, audit processes, or internal controls is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ESG tools (e.g., Envizi, Power BI) is a plus
  • Good command of English; German is a plus
