An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Surgical Veterinary Surgeon or RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Surgery or Orthopaedics to join a progressive small animal practice in Wakefield with an outstanding reputation for clinical excellence.
This role offers the chance to lead and further develop the practice's surgical service while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Based within a well-equipped veterinary hospital, supported by seven branch practices, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures using modern facilities, including an on-site CT scanner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate surgeon who enjoys both advanced clinical work and mentoring colleagues. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the surgical department while maintaining the highest standards of patient and client care.
What They're Looking For- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Surgery or Orthopaedics, or an experienced surgical veterinary surgeon with equivalent expertise
- Significant experience managing complex surgical and orthopaedic cases
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues
