Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our supportive and welcoming team in Rotherham.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You'll be supporting a diverse group of individuals, each with their own strengths, abilities, and support needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional encouragement and reassurance, you'll play a vital role in helping people live happy, fulfilling lives.
What we're looking for:- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, sleep ins, weekends, and bank holidays
- A positive, patient, and empathetic approach towards individuals with learning disabilities
- 4 x Part time Support Worker roles
- 25 hour contracts
Our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, so you can plan your personal and social life with confidence.
You must be flexible to work across mornings, evenings, sleep ins, and weekends.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
