Job Description

We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You'll be working full time - 42 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends (four shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), days only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Dove Valley Mews.

Dove Valley Mews is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with a learning disability and associated complex needs who may display challenging behaviours.

Main duties of the job
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
  • Support service users to access the community, attend work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays
  • Support the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning
