Job Description
Overview

The role of a Support Worker at Enable involves making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs. The job requires enthusiasm, great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage individuals to play active roles in their communities and promote independence.
  • Support activities of daily living: social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals, and budgeting.
  • Communicate effectively using the individuals' chosen methods.
  • Engage and motivate people to enhance their quality of life, including applying positive behavioural support approaches where required.
  • Keep accurate records and report any changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
  • Collaborate as part of a team while also exercising initiative independently.

Qualifications & Experience
  • No specific qualifications are required, but a minimum of 12 months' right to work is needed.
