Mencap is on the lookout for passionate Support Workers (Drivers essential) to join our amazing team in Hemel Hempstead.

What's the role all about?

As a Support Worker, you'll be supporting people with learning disabilities to live their best lives. You'll work with a wonderfully diverse group of individuals, each with their own strengths, personalities, and goals.

• Supporting with everyday activities
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Offering emotional support and companionship
• Sharing laughs, achievements, and meaningful moments

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Great communication skills and the ability to build real relationships
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A positive, empathetic attitude
• A full UK driving licence

No previous experience? No problem. Your values and personality matter most-we'll train you!

All our services provide 24-hour care, but don't worry-we plan rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, so you can still plan your social life!

• Day shifts: Between 07:00-22:00
• Sleep ins: 22:00-07:00
  • Enhanced flat rate of £64.20 per sleep in
