Support Time and Recovery Worker
Posted 4 hours 52 minutes ago by Wight Healthcare
Are you ready to be a steady support for children and young people facing mental health challenges in Hampshire? Join us as a Support Time and Recovery (STAR) worker, where you'll play a crucial role in guiding them towards better days.
Covering sites across the county, our STAR workers help our young people identify their needs and foster strong connections. You'll work closely with the young people to plan personalised support programmes, making sure each step fits their unique journey to feeling better. You'll also work with and involve their families and friends, because we know having a solid support system is important. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has clinical experience and is looking for an opportunity to step up in an autonomous role.
In your role, you'll connect the young people with other helpful organisations, agencies, and resources. You'll keep careful records of everything, so we can track their progress and make sure they're getting the support they need.
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, you'll directly focus on the recovery needs of the child/young person, providing the necessary support and time to aid recovery and improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes.
We have a full time vacancy at Brambly's Drive in Basingstoke. The role is Monday - Friday 9-5.
At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
