Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Team Leader - Support & Commercial to join the Landing Gear Department, based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Reporting to the Head of Landing Gear and Operations Manager the successful candidate will lead the Support & Commercial team paying particular attention to Technical Records, Customer Relations Support and costing/estimation of work being carried out in the workshop.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and maintenance of Landing Gear records for all contracted Customers
  • Maintenance of accurate up to date records of all DAL Landing Gear assets
  • Update and give regular feedback to customers on technical issues and costs to date
  • Complete a final draft invoice for correlation with the Finance Department once a work-scope has been completed.
  • Aid Head of Landing Gear in the achievement of the company objectives, setting new targets, identifying and capturing new business opportunities etc.
  • Provide support to the Sales team to enhance the commercial offer to customers
  • Organising, administering and training of reporting staff to ensure regulatory and Customer compliance.
  • Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess a Technical and/or Professional qualification, minimum at level 6
  • Excellent ability to analyse Technical Records, Commercial Agreements and Technical and Airworthiness data.
  • Have an understanding of relevant airworthiness legislation;
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant computer systems as used in Dublin Aerospace.
  • A full understanding of the Company MOE and Procedures Manual.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Life Limiting requirements of Landing Gears.
  • Be commercially aware and experienced in negotiation, and be customer oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and commitment to work within budget and meet performance targets.
  • Permitted to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction;
  • Relevant experience in an Aircraft/Component Maintenance environment
