Support Services Assistant - Integrated Services - Hotel Services

Overview

Baillieston Health Centre (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde) is looking for a cleaning staff to support patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices, and administration.

Working Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 08:00, 12.2 hours per day. Salary is pro rata for part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices and administration to national standards.
• Provide patient catering, patient laundering, housekeeping, curtain changing and porter/messenger services, including on mental health wards.
• Communicate effectively with patients; good communication skills are essential.
• Cooperate with staff and be willing to work in different locations within the service as needed.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK for the duration of employment.
• Provide at least two references from current or most recent employment/education covering the last three years.
• Up-to-date with 3 days induction training before starting the role.
• Good communication skills and willingness to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
