Baillieston Health Centre (NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde) is looking for a cleaning staff to support patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices, and administration.
Working Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 08:00, 12.2 hours per day. Salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
Responsibilities- Clean patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices and administration to national standards.
- Provide patient catering, patient laundering, housekeeping, curtain changing and porter/messenger services, including on mental health wards.
- Communicate effectively with patients; good communication skills are essential.
- Cooperate with staff and be willing to work in different locations within the service as needed.
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of employment.
- Provide at least two references from current or most recent employment/education covering the last three years.
- Up-to-date with 3 days induction training before starting the role.
- Good communication skills and willingness to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
- A minimum of 27 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus public holidays.
