Support people with dementia in activities

We are a really friendly team and love to welcome volunteers who can support our group members with dementia in activities, initiating conversations and supporting people at times of anxiety.

The role

You will help us focus on ensuring our members get the very most out of their time with us and leave feeling positive while their loved ones have gained a much needed regular break from their caring role.
You will:
Have patience, understanding and empathy,
Support a range of activities including games and music,
Initiate conversations,
Participate in some kitchen duties.

Need to know

Volunteers will be supported by staff to help offer the best experience for themselves and clients.
