Salary The salary will be based on a full-time equivalent salary of £26,792 per annum, VBSS Band 5 (pro rata for part time and term time). This is a spot salary. The pro rata term time salary will be £9,601.48 per annum inclusive of holiday pay.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and efficient Support and Development Coach that will undertake the vital role of supporting a cohort of learners throughout their learning journey at The College's Mansfield Education Hub campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of pastoral support for learners that face barriers to learning which includes our most vulnerable learners. You must be passionate about supporting vulnerable young people within a small, individualised college setting with a focus on creating opportunities for their personal, social and educational development. You will work with both staff and learners and liaise with other specialist services internally and externally to promote and support learner retention, achievement and success.

The post holder is expected to demonstrate energy, passion and enthusiasm for making a difference and have the ability build positive relationships with vulnerable learners. It is essential for this role to have excellent motivational, assertiveness skills and communication skills at all levels in order to ensure supported learners make positive progress in a timely fashion. You will also be required to apply challenge to learners as appropriate to enable them to be successful and achieve their full potential.
