Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work in KS2 within Primary Schools in South Bristol. These roles are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools across Bristol. As these roles are day-to-day supply, this role is flexible, and you can work flexibly around your schedule, which you will make known to us upon joining Hays. You will work as and when you want and will be called in the morning of an assignment for sick cover, or on a pre-planned basis dependent on what you would like to do.
Your new role
You will be working in a variety of schools in South Bristol, ranging from Knowle, Ashton and Bedminster to name a few areas you will get the chance to work in. Your role will consist of taking the class for the day in place of the class teacher within this KS2 class, local to yourself. These roles can be perfect for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are still figuring out what year groups they like to teach and want to gain versatile experience; or highly experienced teachers that are looking for a change of pace in their career. The successful candidates will have routine day-to-day classroom responsibilities. If you enjoy working in different primary schools at times that suit your schedule, this role is for you.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
- Experience within the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
-Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
