We are actively recruiting supply teachers for primary schools across Tower Hamlets. Our long-standing partnerships with schools in the area mean we receive frequent bookings, averaging 3-4 placements per week from a key partner school. This guarantees consistent work opportunities throughout the term. Whether you prefer full-time availability or occasional placements, you can choose how often you work. Schools offer both pre-booked cover and morning-call assignments, ensuring flexibility to suit your schedule. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Your Role as a Primary Supply Teacher

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will bring expertise in Early Years, KS1, or KS2, ensuring seamless classroom continuity. Key responsibilities include:
•Delivering engaging lessons that follow school curriculum plans or adapting materials for unplanned cover.
•Creating a positive and well-managed learning environment that fosters student progress.
•Following school policies and procedures to ensure a smooth transition for pupils.
•Providing marking and feedback at the end of lessons.
•Leaving a detailed handover for the class teacher to maintain consistency.

What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:
•QTS and a PGCE qualification.
•Proven experience in a primary classroom setting.
•Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
•Flexibility and willingness to travel within Newham.
•A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays.
