The Role

We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join our clients Procurement Supply Chain Operations team. You will be the primary interface for the "Detail Parts" portfolio-a critical global commodity supporting the Sparrow perimeter.

From machined long-bed components to hot-formed metallic products for aircraft wings, you will be accountable for the sustainable performance, industrial maturity, and development of a worldwide supplier base.

Key Accountabilities
  • Act as the lead interface for all operational activities, ensuring On Time and On Quality (OTOQ) performance.
  • Manage supplier quality approvals and ensure strict adherence to mandatory certifications (QMS, Nadcap, etc.).
  • Monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) to ensure maturity before moving into serial production.
  • Conduct capacity and capability assessments; identify industrial risks and implement robust recovery and mitigation plans.
  • Lead supplier performance improvement projects and contribute to strategic selection during tendering phases.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Customer Support.
  • An engineering background is a significant asset, particularly involving metallic products (machined or formed).
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and industry regulations (AS9100, Nadcap, EMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent facilitation skills. Proficiency in European languages (French, German, or Spanish) is highly desirable given our global supplier footprint.
  • You are autonomous, act with high integrity, and are comfortable with frequent business travel across the UK and internationally.
