Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Groceries Logistics (AGL)

Amazon's Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. As a Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who fulfill customer orders to Retail teams and beyond. You'll help optimize our supply chains to enhance customer experience and improve energy and cost efficiency.
Key job responsibilities- Define supply chain and operating models for various businesses
- Analyze and interpret data to improve efficiency across supply chains and operations
- Partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges
- Support the planning and organization of complex projects
Being a Supply Chain Manager at Amazon involves problem-solving and collaboration. You'll work with various teams to address challenges impacting our network, resolve issues, and strategize for future projects. The role is both proactive and reactive, offering opportunities to forecast and plan for new initiatives.
You will handle both on-the-ground tasks and tactical work, with variety in daily responsibilities-from defining supply chain models to assisting with resource planning during busy periods. This diversity allows continuous learning and growth.
This role can be based in our corporate locations in London (LHR16 UK), Milan (LIN11 IT), or Madrid (MAD12 ES).
About the teamOur Amazon Groceries Logistics (AGL) team drives innovation and develops new capabilities for Amazon's grocery-related services, including Amazon Fresh stores and online grocery delivery. The team operates like a start-up within Amazon, focusing on transforming concepts into operational businesses. We support growth, diversity, and development across various skill sets, from operations to data management.
Minimum qualifications- A degree in a relevant field
- Experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level (queries, subqueries, aggregation, data modification)
- Degree in STEM or MBA
- Proficiency in the local language (upper intermediate)
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight
