Supply Chain Manager

Supply Chain Manager is responsible for supporting and guiding the supply chain team, alongside designing and delivering supply chain strategies that meet business needs, ensure continuity of supply, and support cost efficiency.
The role combines team coordination with strategic planning, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support both current product lines and new product introduction (NPI). The focus is on maintaining a reliable, efficient, and responsive supply chain.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supply Chain Planning & Execution- Lead planning and execution of supply chain activities to support production and customer demand.
- Maintain and enhance forecasting models, planning parameters, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Manage supply chain constraints including material availability, demand fluctuations, and supplier issues.
- Support or drive S&OP/SIOP processes, aligning operational plans with business strategy.
- Review ISO Management Processes monthly and publish metrics.
- Review and schedule all new order acknowledgements, working closely with Customer Service team to ensure customer specific requirements are understood and executed.
- Provide Customer Services with timely information on all order changes, delays, and updates.
- Review and maintain lead times to support Customer Portal.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Customer Support to ensure effective communication and execution of plans.
- Develops and drives participation in IDEX Sustainability programs as an integral part of day-to-day operations, monitoring and ensuring our collective efforts have a positive impact.
- Implement and enhance ERP systems for inventory management and demand planning.
- Conduct advanced analysis of supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop models, dashboards, and reporting (e.g., OTD, backlog, inventory turns, cost metrics).
- Provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership through detailed reporting and presentations.
- Monitor forecasting accuracy and inventory performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain inventory strategies to meet service, cost, and working capital targets.
- Analyze and manage excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory (EOZ).
- Support cycle count and physical inventory processes ensuring high accuracy standards.
- Optimize material flow and SKU parameters to improve planning effectiveness.
- Support procurement planning and supplier engagement to ensure continuity of supply.
- Manage vendor performance, cost reduction initiatives, and delivery reliability.
- Contribute to sourcing, negotiation, and supplier development activities.
- Manage team with day-to-day activities, development, and performance management.
- Lead and provide direction to team by setting goals, organizing tasks/projects and training based on company priorities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Supply Chain qualification or relevant experience
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP system
- 7+ years experience in demand planning, supply planning or similar role in operations
- Proficiency with forecasting tools, ERP Oracle, Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience establishing and optimising strategic supply chains to support both existing product lines and new product introduction (NPI).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Excellent communication and cross-collaboration skills
- Experience working with S&OP processes
- Knowledge of inventory management and vendor compliance best practices.

The expected pay range for this position is 60,000 - 70,000 annually.
Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other objective job-related factors. This position may be eligible for a bonus or other incentive plan, as well as other forms of compensation.
