Job Description
Supply Chain Manager - Ashford, Kent

Location: Ashford, Kent (TN24 0LU)

Salary: circa £68,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus + private medical insurance

Our site in Ashford is recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the factory Supply Chain and Logistics teams. You will oversee short-term planning and execution of inbound raw and pack materials, finished goods scheduling, and dispatch to ensure the right stock, labor, and transport are available to meet forecast demands.

This role is a key interface with central planning and commercial teams and is part of our Site Leadership Team at Ashford, partnering with Operations to identify and deliver efficiency improvements.

What we need from you:
  • Previous experience as a Supply Chain/Planning Manager in a manufacturing or logistics environment (Food/FMCG preferred)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven leadership of multi-disciplined teams and projects
  • Experience with supply chain planning systems (preferably SAP and Kinnaxis)
What you'll be doing:
  • Leading the planning and logistics teams on site
  • Developing strategic improvement plans for supply chain processes across the site
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the site, ensuring targets and milestones are achieved
  • Collaborating with operational teams to ensure labor availability and capacity planning are optimized
