Job Description

Department: Supply Chain / Operations

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain


Position Mission

To comprehensively manage the purchasing, supply, and logistics processes for finished and subcontracted products, ensuring the achievement of delivery objectives, inventory optimization, and support for the commercial strategy of the business.


Main Responsibilities

  • Execute the complete purchasing and shipping process for materials, including both finished products and subcontracted items.
  • Monitor all purchases to ensure compliance with established delivery dates.
  • Directly manage production and delivery plans with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations) for subcontracted products.
  • Develop and implement supply plans with suppliers, ensuring on-time deliveries and efficient cash flow.
  • Manage relationships with key partners: CMOs, raw material suppliers, and logistics operators, including price reviews, escalations, and delivery times.
  • Establish and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure proper coverage of the sales plan.
  • Organize transportation and monitor shipments, as well as the receipt of finished products in the warehouses of OPLs (Logistics Operators).
  • Participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and demand planning processes with the commercial and marketing departments, managing regular meetings with involved areas.
  • Operate daily in SAP S4: managing purchase orders, production/manipulation orders, inventory movements and transfers, material master data, etc.
  • Create and provide reports to Top Management, including continuous updates on KPIs, risks, and opportunities, as required.
  • Actively participate in the integration and continuous improvement of the implemented ERP (SAP S4).
  • Cooperate daily with the Finance department to ensure correct inventory accounting, slow-moving management, and obsolescence provisions.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the Consumer Health sector.
  • Proficiency in SAP (mandatory).
  • Experience in purchasing management, logistics, demand planning, and relationship with CMOs/suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and results-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and KPI management.
