Job Description
Overview

A leading Asian food company in the UK is looking for a Supply Chain and Production Executive. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth production planning, demand analysis, and managing relationships with outsourced production companies. The role requires a keen focus on efficient production management and supply chain coordination to meet organizational goals. Understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.

  • TYPE: permanent, full-time
  • WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • SALARY: £28K- depending on experience, plus benefits such as employee discount and free parking
  • START: 2nd March 2026
  • LOCATION: Zone 6 of North London (Hybrid working style)
Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production processes at co-packing partners to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time
  • Perform detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine required production volume and material requirements
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals
  • Manage relationships with outsourced production partners
  • Ensure effective management of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory
  • Continuously analyse and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand planning forecasts
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in production management, production planning, and supply chain coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • A team player, with the ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Business level of fluency in English
  • Some understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous
