Supplier Quality Engineers

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer ready to lead supplier excellence across the aerospace supply chain? We're looking for a Supplier Quality Engineerto drive supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across UK sites. This is a high-impact, field-based role for someone with strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits (AS9100, APQP, special processes, etc.) to assess compliance and process capability.
• Support MRB activities and lead root cause analysis with effective corrective action implementation.
• Facilitate and verify First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards.
• Drive supplier quality improvement through lean, Six Sigma, and PFMEA practices.
• Deliver clear reporting on supplier performance, quality issues, and project milestones.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and customers.

What You Bring

• 8+ yearsin aerospace manufacturing quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, FAA/EAR/ITAR regulations, and GD&T.
• 5-8 yearsof experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections.
• Proven experience leading supplier audits and corrective action initiatives.
• Proficiency in quality engineering tools: APQP, PPAP, RCCA, SPC, FMEA, etc.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel UK-wide.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar technical field.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, etc.) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Familiarity with metrology, automated inspection, and quality software tools.
