Supplier Quality & Packaging Technician (f/m/d)

The Supplier Quality & Packaging Technician is a cross-functional role supporting supplier quality assurance, incoming inspection, and packaging integrity. This role ensures incoming products meet specifications, supports packaging quality initiatives, and assists in supplier communication and follow-up. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with inspection tools and processes, actively engaged in maintaining quality records, and able to support packaging initiatives in partnership with the distribution team.

Essential Functions:

Quality Inspection

• Verify conformance of optics and mechanical components to EO drawings and specifications
• Accurately document all inspection results and maintain inspection records in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
• Use computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office) to document inspections and process transactions

Supplier Quality

• Support supplier quality functions by reviewing and verifying customer returns and reporting on findings
• Support Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA) efforts by gathering inspection details from supplier and identifying trends
• Help monitor supplier performance through established KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Incoming Quality, etc.)

Packaging & Handling

• Ensure optics and mechanical parts are properly packaged in compliance with EO packaging guidelines to prevent damage during transport
• Assist in executing packaging trials and help implement improvements based on product type and transit conditions
• Support the creation or review of packaging instructions and label printing tasks

Qualifications:

Your profile:

• Minimum HBO (Hoger Beroepsonderwijs) diploma required, ideally in Quality
• 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, quality, or packaging environment preferred
• Ideally experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment
• Working knowledge of inspection practices and packaging standards
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to details
• Willingness to occasionally travel
