The Role

As a Shift Lead at Flour Water Salt, you'll:

Lead and motivate the team throughout your shift, creating a positive and supportive working environment.

Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the bakery, ensuring excellent service and operational standards.

Maintain high standards across food, coffee, service, cleanliness and presentation.

Monitor performance and take ownership of issues as they arise, helping the team find practical solutions.

Bring the Flour Water Salt values to life, making sure our customers receive a consistently warm and welcoming experience.

Support the development of the team through coaching, feedback and leading by example.

Help create a strong team culture where people feel supported, valued and proud of the work they do.

Build genuine relationships with our customers and help make Flour Water Salt an important part of the local community.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, positive and genuinely enjoys working with people.

You don't need to know everything, but you should care about quality, have high standards and be willing to get stuck in. Experience in hospitality, food, retail or a team-leading role would be useful, but attitude and the ability to lead people well are just as important.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to help build something great with us.
