St Christopher's Day Services

The post holder will maintain the highest attainable standards of person-centered care, to promote optimum independence and to enhance the quality of life of the Service User in all aspects of daily living. To assist and co-operate in the smooth running of the assigned area. To work directly with the Unit Head in identifying programmes/work and design activities suitable to the varying needs of the Service User.

Qualification

• Minimum Ordinary Degree (HETAC Level 7) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Nursing or recognised equivalent.

Experience

• Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities and Complex Needs.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of role
• Confidential, calm, polite and professional individual who is well presented and has a kind, calm and caring nature.
• Candidate must have good communication and good listening skills
