Within our Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre based in Dublin, Ireland, we are looking for: Supervisor to work within our pick-and-pack distribution centre Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supervisor to direct daily floor execution and manage shift operations in an automated pick-and-pack environment. The Supervisor will be operationally responsible for labour allocation, inventory accuracy, workflow control, safety enforcement, and first-line coaching. This role reports to the Manager and is crucial for the smooth functioning of our distribution efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct daily floor operations, allocate tasks across logistics associates, manage shift attendance, and provide first-line coaching.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy, while achieving business targets.
  • Enforce company policies and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Support structured onboarding and provide operational cross training on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement immediate solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative team culture, providing first-line support and escalating any formal grievances or personnel issues to the Manager.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and notes to the Manager to support annual appraisals.
  • Prepare weekly reports on distribution centre activities, productivity, and inventory status.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and other departments to optimize processes and achieve operational goals.
  • Collaborate with the onsite 3rd party engineering team to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized distribution centre.
  • Support all business-related audits.
  • Support and contribute to operational projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the main operational contact in the absence of the reporting Manager.
Skills Associated Hard Skills
  • Operations: Proven experience in receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Automation: Experience working in an automated / semi automated environment is an advantage.
  • Inventory Control: Knowledge of inventory management principles, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Proven Experience with WMS software for tracking inventory and managing orders.
  • Safety Regulations: Understanding of OSHA guidelines and best practices for warehouse safety.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for reporting and communication.
  • System Skills: Proven Experience in SAP and WMS systems.
  • Data Entry: Accurate data entry skills for recording inventory movements and order details.
  • Process Adherence: Ability to follow and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Soft Skills
  • Leadership & Supervision: Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a team of logistics associates effectively on the shift.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for instructing staff, supporting team meetings, and reporting to management.
  • Problem Solving: Capability to quickly identify and resolve operational issues or conflicts.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy in inventory, order fulfilment, and documentation.
