About SunsilkSunsilk is one of the billion euro brands for Unilever and the biggest haircare brand of Unilever, housed under a newly created division of Beauty and Wellbeing. Purpose of the JobThe role of Sunsilk Global Engagement and Innovation Director reports into the Global Brand VP Sunsilk & Tresemme (based in UK). This role will give you the opportunity to put your mark on the future of Sunsilk by delivering the new communication and engagement strategy in key countries together with key innovation projects.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Brand and Beauty Crafters that will deliver the sustained growth of the brand in the challenging hair category
- Lead key innovations projects - Core and Future Core
- Deliver the brand transformation through a new & unified brand world
- Deliver communication & engagement activities
- Lead engagement activities and build an engagement platform for the brand - music.
- Lead creation of assets & content that will enable the brand to maximize precision/targeted marketing on digital and social media.
- Play a key role in leading work with creative & production agencies to develop & deliver creative assets
- Support in designing a holistic brand experience, develop a Communication repeatable model, explore new media models, and lead brand experience in the digital & social arena
- 10+ years in Marketing with experience in Beauty / Premium & social first brands.
- Obsession with brands & consumers, Sense of Aesthetics, Analytical Thinking & Rigour
- Has strong eye for beauty
- Beauty Ecosystem, Activity and Innovation Leadership
- Consumer insight and category knowledge
- Previous experience in global / brand crafting marketing role and with fully operational skills on:
- Designing best in class storytelling brand engagement experiences
- Create brand engagement through full consumer journey with social first in mind
- Leading and inspiring bold creative work
- Deep understanding of media landscape with keen focus on social and digital, Others Say and how to win in the marketplace
- Global experience: especially LATAM and Asia.
