Summer TEFL English Teacher

EF Eastbourne Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2026.

Positions available between mid-June - August 2026 (minimum one month commitment).

Accommodation and full board available if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons.
• Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners.
• Track student attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback.
• Facilitate testing and maintain academic records.
• Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment.
• Act as an ambassador for EF.

Requirements

• Available between June-August 2026.
• TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualified.
• Sensitive to the needs of international students.
• Confident in teaching young learners (13-17).
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service.
• Has strong administrative and organisational skills.
• All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS checkand two references.
• Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment.
• C2 level of English.
