Summer Locum Vet Sweden Adventure Great Rota ECC Variety

Looking for a summer locum role that offers more than the usual? This is a unique opportunity to join a well-supported, forward-thinking practice in Sweden for a rewarding summer stint filled with variety, clinical interest, and beautiful surroundings.

What's on offer:

• 40 hours per week across 5 days
• Mix of shifts: ️ 7:30am-4:30pm ️ 8:00am-5:00pm ️ 4:00pm-12:00am (up to 4 evenings in a row possible)
• Evening shifts followed by on-call (12:00am-7:30am) - very quiet, with nurses only calling in emergencies
• Shared Saturday rota (7:30am-4:30pm) - No Sundays, no on-call on weekends
• Sole charge required during evening and on-call shifts
• Transport provided by the practice

Accommodation: No on-site accommodation, but local AirBnBs are available and practice transport is provided.

To be considered:

Confident handling emergency cases such as GDVs, pyometras, and foreign bodies

Comfortable working sole charge, including out-of-hours and on-call

Capable of performing emergency surgeries independently

Strong triage and critical care decision-making skills

Calm, clear communicator with excellent teamwork under pressure
