As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions, we're expanding our Power Transmission and Distribution capabilities - and we're looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join our Regional Civils team on a major Overhead Lines (OHL) project.
This is your opportunity to take a leading role in one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes, helping to upgrade and reinforce the electricity network that powers homes, businesses, and communities across the country.
What you'll be doing
As a Sub Agent you will:
- Support the Site Agent in the planning, organisation, and supervision of all site activities across the OHL project.
- Manage engineering teams, subcontractors, and site resources to achieve project milestones.
- Oversee technical delivery, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design specifications and project drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across construction methods and safety practices.
- Liaise with clients, designers, and project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and clear communication channels.
- Monitor progress, managing risks, and assisting with project reporting and documentation.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Qualified in Civil Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree).
- Skilled in site management, with a proven track record in supervising multidisciplinary teams on a infrastructure or related project.
- Knowledgeable in safety regulations, construction processes, and quality assurance procedures.
- A strong communicator who can coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Committed to maintaining Balfour Beatty's high standards for safety, sustainability, and delivery excellence.

- Pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more
