You bring strong interpersonal skills and build rapport easily with students, tutors, and colleagues alike, creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere. You're proactive and resourceful, knowing when to take initiative and when to escape, and you're committed to ensuring every student has an excellent academic experience.

This job is suitable for anybody who has worked in a student support or teaching role. Experience in any school leadership positions would also make you the right candidate for this role.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Experience working with international students and non-native speakers.
  • Experience working in academic summer schools.
  • Completing an undergraduate or studying for a Master's degree.
  • Welcome and support tutors: Greet tutors on their first day, ensure classrooms are properly set up, guide students to their lessons, and ensure tutors have access to necessary resources and materials.
  • Conduct lesson observations: Monitor teaching quality to ensure students are receiving an excellent academic experience throughout their programme.
  • Resolve academic concerns promptly: Address student queries and issues efficiently, whether that involves switching students between subjects, clarifying assignment details, or stepping in to supervise a class if a tutor is unexpectedly unavailable.
  • Deliver curriculum enrichment workshops: Lead engaging 90-minute sessions on 21st Century skills, helping students develop essential capabilities for their personal and academic growth.
  • Communicate with head office: Maintain regular contact with the Academic team to manage priorities, share updates, and elevate matters that require senior attention.
