Students/interns seeking student teaching, practicum, or field experience should not directly contact schools, principals, or teachers about placement opportunities. Requests must be made to the school district prior to May 1 of the preceding school year for fall placements and prior to November 1 for spring placements.

Cooperating Teachers Qualifications

• Substantial educator experience, with a minimum of three years in the field.
• Proven positive impact on student learning outcomes.
• Strong collaboration with colleagues.
• Effective mentoring and engagement in professional development opportunities.
