We are currently looking for a Student Support Officer to join our vibrant team at an innovative and forward-thinking college in Cambridge, UK. This is your chance to play a vital role in enriching student experience and making a positive impact on their academic journey.
Hours of Work: part time (15 hours a week), fixed term (6 months), office hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday (schedule to be agreed with successful candidate).
As a Student Support Officer, you will be a key point of contact for students, providing essential support across welfare, engagement, administration, and partnership liaison. Your role will involve assisting with student wellbeing initiatives, managing attendance, supporting academic processes, and fostering strong relationships with our university partner to ensure a seamless student-facing experience.
Student Support Officer Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-focused or administrative role within education or healthcare is desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Proactive and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
