This is a fixed-term opportunity for a Student Records Support Officer within the Directorate for Strategic Planning and Student Administration (SPSA). The role sits in the Student Record Systems team, supporting the University's student information system (SITS). It ensures that student data is accurate and reliable to support key stages of the student lifecycle, including enrolment, modules and related processes.
The postholder will assist with the maintenance and processing of student record data, contributing to effective operational delivery across the academic year. This includes supporting curriculum and module updates, resolving data issues, and maintaining documentation and system processes. The role may also support broader University initiatives, including system testing and process improvements as the University enhances its student record systems and services.

- Support the University's student information system (SITS) and the Student Records Systems team to ensure data accuracy and reliability throughout the student lifecycle (enrolment, modules, and related processes).
- Contribute to wider University initiatives, including system testing and process updates and improvements.
- Experience of working with data systems is essential.
- Experience within Higher Education or familiarity with student record systems is advantageous but not essential.
- The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail-focused individual who enjoys working with data and systems and is a strong team player. They will be able to plan and manage their own workload, apply judgement in resolving routine issues, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service. A flexible approach to work is essential, particularly during peak periods such as enrolment.
