Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to support the university in meeting its obligations as a student visa sponsor licence holder. The role involves providing administrative support to ensure compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) visa requirements throughout the student journey, with a focus on upholding the university's Student Engagement and Attendance Policy. You will manage and analyse attendance data, ensure consistent and timely escalation steps, and contribute to effective reporting to UKVI. Collaboration across teams, drafting instructional documentation, recommending process improvements, and providing guidance on immigration-related queries are key aspects of the role.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality service under pressure, with strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to support a diverse student population. You will have excellent IT skills, handle confidential data with integrity, and communicate effectively.

Collaborative Approach

A collaborative approach is essential, working across Student Immigration and Compliance Team (SICT), Academic Registry, and Student Achievement Services to ensure consistent processes, monitoring, and reporting. You will be adaptable, open to change, and focused on continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

You should hold a Level 3 qualification (e.g. A Levels, BTEC) or equivalent experience.

Disclosures and Background Checks
