Hours to be worked across at least 4 days per week
About this roleAs a member of the University's Directorate of Student Services and Digital Experience team, the post holder will provide a student health service for students at the Bishop Otter Campus and the Bognor Regis Campus. The post holder will work closely with other colleagues within the wider Student Support Services team to discuss, review and develop reasonable adjustments to support students with a range of enduring health and other conditions. The post holder will act as the University's Sexual Violence Liaison Officer (SVLO), acting as point of contact for advice and guidance on cases involving sexual misconduct and harassment, whilst providing specialist support to students involved in reported incidents.
About youThe successful applicant will have knowledge of the impacts of sexual misconduct on victims/survivors and the options available to them, as well an understanding of safeguarding and legal responsibilities. You will need proven organisational, administrative and planning skills in order to manage a caseload of competing priorities as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reviewing reasonable adjustments, you will have a knowledge of a range of enduring health conditions and how they may impact on individuals as well as experience of working with young people, ideally within an educational environment.
