Structural Workshop Engineer

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer to support structural maintenance and repairs as well as part 21 manufacturing tasks for our well respected client based in the south of the UK. This role will be open to anyone looking to further their skills within aviation, or those looking to transfer suitable alternative experience into a career within aviation.

Following your successful application you will hold the following responsibilities:

• Assembly of aircraft components from a kit in line with drawings and specifications using varying methods of assembly, including solid and blind riveting, bolting.
• Manufacturing of metal detail components with bending and detail fitting
• Calibration of required equipment
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering/technical drawings.

Successful candidates will have held previous maintenance/repair experience within an aviation environment although, we are open to profiles with alternate mechanical backgrounds as well.
