The Role

This Structural Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of structural design across a range of projects while developing your technical expertise and autonomy.

  • Lead the day-to-day technical delivery of structural engineering projects
  • Act as project lead, design manager, or discipline lead as required
  • Prepare and oversee the production of calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Review engineering designs produced by others to ensure high technical quality
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow consultants throughout design and construction stages
  • Attend design meetings, site inspections, and construction progress reviews
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, and identify risks and resourcing needs
  • Support and mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Ensure work complies with relevant codes, sustainability goals, and statutory requirements
