Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Strip Fitter to join an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest standard for customers, under the support and guidance of the Supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Stripping and fitting vehicle panels

• Carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methods

• Removing parts and panels from a range of vehicles

• Ensuring all nuts, bolts, screws and other fixings are labelled and correctly stored, ready for when the stripped parts and panels need to be refitted

• Supporting the bodyshop team within other departments when required

• Training and supporting bodyshop trainee staff

Personal Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar Strip Fitter / Bodyshop role

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Experience stripping and fitting vehicle parts and panels

• Willing to support junior technicians and offer support and expertise when required

• Passionate about working within the motor industry and taking pride in producing work to the highest standards

• Ability to work independently on vehicles and make decisions when required

• Excellent attention to detail
