Salary: £40,000-£45,000

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Street Lighting Supervisor to lead our street lighting operations. This role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair works, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. You'll manage field teams, liaise with clients and local authorities, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise street lighting crews on planned and reactive maintenance, installations, and upgrades
• Plan and allocate daily workloads, ensuring resources are used efficiently
• Monitor works to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and contract specifications
• Carry out quality inspections and report on progress
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and local authorities to coordinate works
• Provide technical support and training to team members
• Maintain accurate records of works completed, materials used, and time spent

Requirements

• Proven experience in street lighting or electrical supervision
• Knowledge of street lighting systems, cabling, and control equipment
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and safe working practices
• Full UK driving licence (HGV or towing licence an advantage)
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2382/2391)
• NRSWA Supervisor qualification preferred
